NINE people have been charged with drug offences after officers from the Sunshine Coast District Tactical Crime Squad executed search warrants at homes in the Noosa region.
On Thursday 9 June, homes in Noosaville, Cooroy, Pomona and Coolum were searched, along with properties in Traverston and Black Mountain, resulting in nine people receiving notice to appear at court or drug diversion notices for 32 offences.
Police will allege during the search of residences they located quantities of cannabis, Methylamphetamine, drug utensils, ammunition, a flick knife and mobile phones.
Charges range from possessing and producing dangerous drugs, possessing amphetamines, possessing utensils used for smoking or administering drugs, as well as possession of explosives and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
More charges are likely as police investigations continue.
