Cooke hands over baton and big kitty

THE Tewantin Noosa Lions Club welcomed their new board on Tuesday 5 July in front of over 80 guests at the Tewantin Noosa RSL.
Special guests at the ceremony included Deputy Mayor Frank Wilkie, Councillors Jess Glasgow and Ingrid Jackson, and the next District Governor for District Q4 Lions Rod Sommerville.
Immediate past president Diane Cooke handed the leadership of the club to Lion president David Watts.
Ms Cooke said over the past 12 months the club had raised and donated in excess of $46,000 for local and international charities as well as local individuals.
