Budding singers mentored

Jamison Kehl.

Jamison Kehl has spent the past six months as a member of Big Sky Girls, a mentoring program for young regional female singer/songwriters.
She was one of 10 young female singer/songwriters to team up with established Queensland artists who assisted the aspirants to further their careers in the music industry.
The girls attended workshops with their mentors and had weekly video conferences where they wrote songs and music.
The program provided the girls with the opportunity to perform two of their original songs at the Brisbane Powerhouse during the school holidays.
The Noosa District State High Year 11 student made a professional recording of one of her songs, Limerence, and she will be releasing this as her debut single in coming weeks.
