Great year for Noosa juniors

U12A- U12 Noosa Gold played Caloundra Gold in the preliminary final at Maroochydore. Noosa Gold came up against a side that was undefeated all year.
The first half was strong and Noosa Gold was able to match it with them, going into half time 4 – 4. Unfortunately, a few injuries and lack of possession in the second half saw Caloundra run away with the game. Final score, Noosa 8 Caloundra 32.
It was a great season from the boys reaching a Preliminary Final. All of the boys have improved and are looking forward to the next season.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this season such a great success. To Laurie, Steve, Hilly and Sandi especially, you definitely helped make the job as coach that much easier.
The year 2014 will be seen as the year which provided the boys with so many good memories, a major highlight being the Gladstone trip.
Go the Mighty Pirates. Bring on footy season 2015.
– Mark Cross
U13C- Well boys, you did it. You made the Grand Final. Brett, Paul and myself could not have asked for anything better and could not be any more proud of you all. Final score, Noosa 36 Maroochydore 24.
In no particular order, special mention goes to: Owain Ritson, Corey Mackenzie, Chase McChesney and Noah Clist.
