Honour for greatest guitarists

TWO guitar virtuosos will showcase their skills this Saturday as they honour the greatest guitarists in history.
Phil Emmanuel and Robbie Bostock will team up for the While My Guitar Gently Weeps show at the Tewantin Noosa RSL, tomorrow night, from 8pm.
But don’t let the name fool you, the show will be an all-out electrifying, powerful showcase of timeless electric guitar music including famous riffs from Santana, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac and Jimi Hendrix.
Phil is well-known for his guitar skills having toured nationally and earned a place in the Australian Country Music hall of fame.
Phil also featured in the Sydney Olympics closing ceremony where he played to an audience of 2 billion people, while Robbie is a locally-grown talent from the Gold Coast and has an impressive early career of his own.
Robbie, who will lend his voice to the timeless renditions of some of the world’s greatest hits, has performed with his siblings as part of The Bostocks, performing throughout the country at major country music festivals and impressing all with their folk tunes, fiddle solos and guitar riffs.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps is the perfect show for anyone who loves the guitar or just great music. You can catch the free show at the Tewantin Noosa RSL on Saturday, from 8pm.
