THE Lions Club of Peregian has taken on the organising of the Peregian Beach Christmas Carols in the park adjacent to the surf club commencing at 5.30 pm on Monday 22 December. This event will be the 50th staging of the carols and a wonderful night is assured. Local legend Darren Percival has put together a great program of local artists to support him including former Ten Tenors member Luke Kennedy. The night will be compared by Caroline from the Mix FM Big Brekky show. Santa will drop by in the RACQ Helicopter at 6.30pm and the night will finish at 8.30pm with fireworks. Food and drinks will be available for sale on the night.
