Music’s in their blood

Some people have music in their genes and that’s definitely the case with family band Genetyx. Prepare to be elevated and absorbed when two generations come together to perform a broad repertoire of covers.
Genetyx will reach in and grab your soul with soaring vocals and keep you entranced with their varied range.
Stuart, Mark, Kayla, Nat and Paige Salangsang perform classic hits from the ’60s right up to today’s hits including covers from Crowded House, Evanescence, Matchbox 20, Mumford and Sons, Ball Park Music and many more.
Mark and Stuart together have over 40 years of experience playing live and have supported acts such as Billy Thorpe, Ian Moss, Christine Anu, Phil Emmanuel, Mental as Anything, Choir Boys, Radiators and The Beautiful Girls.
Kayla, Nat and Paige have grown up with a love and passion of music. They have training in their instruments and love playing and gigging with their father and uncle.
And you can catch Genetyx for free on Friday 15 December in the Diggers Bar at Tewantin Noosa RSL. Call 5447 1766 for courtesy bus bookings.
