A date with the classics

IN addition to their 2015 concert series, the Pacific Chamber Players have been invited to perform at Noosa Pengari Steiner School.
The concert will take place at the school hall on Sunday 1 March, from 2pm.
The Players consider themselves privileged to support the creative ideology of the Steiner Educational model by providing quality music for its students and school community and therefore local community.
The program will consist of Timeless Classics including Mozart’s Piano Quartet in G minor K478 and String Quartet in Bb K159 together with Loeillet sonata in C for Oboe and Piano, Schumann Fantasy Pieces for Oboe d’Amore and Piano Op 73 and Beethoven’s Romance in F Op 50 arranged for violin and chamber ensemble.
The kaleidoscopic range of music will be presented by the musicians displaying their usual diversity and expertise.
Tickets are available at the door priced at $27 per adult, $22 for concession and Noosa Pengari parents, and $7 for school students.
A portion of ticket sales is donated to the Cancer Foundation each year. Refreshments will follow the concert.
This concert will be in addition to the shows presented at Cooran Memorial Hall on Saturday 21 February at 2pm and Caloundra Uniting Church on Sunday 22 February at 2pm.
