Tasty Figjam

By ANITA ANDERSON

It was another great evening for the ladies and mens’ touch competitions this week before the chilly weather kicks in.
Rissoles 2 couldn’t quite match Figjam 7 this week, hopefully the injury to Kristie is not too bad and they can be back in the winner’s circle next week.
Heidi’s 7 had a win against NDSHS 12s 1 and ABL2 Driving School proved too strong for Sunshine Beach.
In a very close encounter Pohutuhutu 8 only just edged out DRM Construction 7 while Pomona Realty 7 closed the sale over Magnesium Australia 3.
Ultratune and Hangloosa could not be separated at the siren and played out an exciting 7 all draw.
Evolution 4 fought hard but went down to Misfits 10.
In another closed match up Energex 8 only just got the points over the ever improving young NDSHS 9s 7.
NDSHS 10s 7 had a great win against Madills 4 and Beach Sports 11 ran away with the game against Melco 5.
Finally, in what turned out to be a tight tussle, Aphrodite 4 were first past the post against Cartwrights 3.
