TEWANTIN NOOSA BOWLS
New Revolution Open Pairs winners were Graeme Spry and Barry Jacket, Troy Rowley and Mark Wrigley, Steve McKay and Les Hughes.
Ladies club selected Pairs winners were Sue Gray and Debbie Austin.
Winners of the Men were Paul Goette and Jim Hillier.
Wednesdays Men’s Triples winners were Trevor Crosby, Greg Halloway and Gary Moss (2+29).
Thursday Open Pairs winners were Thelma and Ian Sanday (2+9).
Friendly Friday Triples winners were Phil Coman, Bill and Carol Jones.
Pennant Season got underway with three greens of play as all seven Men’s Divisions were at Home last Saturday with two wins to Division five and six and Division eight played a draw.
Division three only lost by one shot.
The Ladies were away on Monday.
Division one had a win and a draw. Division three had a loss and a win.
Division four had a win and a loss 22-44.

POMONA BOWLS REPORT
The Pomona Ladies Fours Championship team of Jeannie Price, Desley O’Neill, Gaye Bible and Tina Camp won the District Champion of Champion Fours by six shots.
Wednesday first round of Consistency Singles with Sharon Foale defeated Katie McInnes; Jocelyn Rabjohns defeated Glenda Rohde while the game of the day was between Tina Camp and Jeannie Price with the end result Tina 100 and Jeannie 94.
Wednesday social game was won by Judy Muir, Linda McDougall and Fay Beadnell.
A reminder to all bowlers that Wednesday 12 August will be the Neilsen’s Sponsored mixed triples.
Thursday Handicap Singles winner was Linda McDougall +13, Curley Greig +1 and Don Mallett +6.
Social Twilight Bowls on Friday afternoon winners were Roy Hargreaves and Curly Greig +15.
Saturday Men’s Pennants at home against Cooloola Coast.
Pomona won all its rinks for an overall total of 84 to 39.
Trevor Walsh’s team 25-17, Mel Hobbin’s team 32-12, Bob Schofield’s team by 27-10.
President Bob’s “at home” played on Sunday was a great success.
The Gympie team skipped by Owen Raynes although losing the first game won the second game to take out the winners of the losers, the Fraser Coast District team skipped by C Williams won both games and achieved the highest margin to be the overall winners of the day.
It was a great day for President Bob who turned 70 on Saturday.

COOROY COMMUNITY BOWLS CLUB
Tuesday Jackpot pairs winners were Kerry Knowles, Colin Nalder and Colin Gilmour.
Thursday evening results of the Twilight Triples
Eumundi Boys lost to X Factor 10.15, Cormorants lost to Galahs 8-9, Bee Stings defeated Bushrangers 16-9, Apotukis lost to Rough/Revie 2-24, Night Owls drew with Royal Flush 13 all.
Anyone who would like to come along and try barefoot bowls or get some coaching there is someone on the greens Friday afternoon after 2.30pm.
Business Bowls starts 19 August with a practise and get to know you evening commencing at 6pm, if anyone is interested call or email as per below.
The final of the Men’s Triples was held on Sunday and Eric Kenzler, Ben French and Gordon Hamilton ran out winners.

PENNANTS
Cooroy won the day 8-0 from Tewantin-Noosa in the Saturday Men’s.
Cooroy drew with Caloundra two-all at the Women’s on Monday.
On Sunday 17 August Brekky bowls will be held at 9am.
Anyone who would like to come up and have some breakfast and a game of bowls is asked to phone. All welcome.
