It’s Tigers v Roos at the big dance!

The Rococo Bar and Bistro Noosa Tigers will face arch rival Maroochydore in both senior and reserve grade grand finals at Yeronga this Saturday. Noosa Tigers had the weekend off to freshen up – while having an intense training session on Saturday morning – and waited to see who their grand final opponent would be.
The star-studded Maroochydore Roos were too good for a fast finishing Caloundra outfit coming away four goal victors.
The Noosa Tigers (both senior and reserve grades) are fully fit and raring to go with all players on the senior list available – what a great position for the match committee to be in.
The Roos do appear a tad wounded but nothing will be taken for granted by the hungry and super impressive Noosa outfit who can’t wait for the siren to sound at 2pm at league headquarters this Saturday.
They have been an extremely even team in 2017 with names like Laskey, Templeton, Woods, Hill, Coleman and Fitzpatrick having superb years thus far.
The Roos are also boasting star quality with Dzufer, Bevan, Gale, Norman, Simpson and Ainsworth all experienced and more than formidable opponents.
The stage is set for a mouth-watering grand final that hasn’t been contested by these two great Sunshine Coast rivals since 1994.
All information – re supporters, buses, etc – is on the Noosa Tigers website and Facebook page but you’d best get in early!
All at the Rococo’s Bar and Bistro Noosa Tigers wish Sam Faure (senior coach) and Danny O’Brien (reserves coach) and their respective charges all the best as they grasp for premiership glory this Saturday.
A big congratulations also to the Under 13 Youth Girls and Under 16 Boys who brought home Premiership Cups last Sunday. Well done to all involved. You made your club, families and most importantly yourselves proud.
Go Tigers!
