April Suns will rock you

DRAGON was one of the biggest names in music in Australia from 1975 to 1990. Their humble beginnings and their rise to fame resonate with people all across the world, but particularly fans in Australia and New Zealand where the band originated. The band’s original honky tonk, piano-infused rock sound was adored by everyone as were their later mainstream rock hits.
April Suns is a Brisbane-based tribute band that brings the true spirit of Dragon to every performance. The April Suns will treat you to all the hits from 1975 right through to 1990, as well as covering the solo hits of Marc Hunter from 1979 to 1982. April Suns is one of the best in terms of tribute bands, with an incredibly high-energy show with astounding visuals.
If you feel like a blast from the past or just a downright great night out then head over to the Tewantin Noosa RSL on Friday 14 October at 8pm. Tickets are $10 for members, and just $20 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased at reception or via Dial ‘n’ Charge on 5447 1766.
