An eye for beauty

A LOCAL art appreciation group will welcome an internationally renowned architect and photographer to talk all things light and colour.
Architect and photographer Adrian Boddy will present ‘Icy Reflections’ on Saturday 18 June when he will share his insight into colour and light in icy landscapes using photography, art and poetry.
Mr Boddy will be welcomed by the Australian Decorative and Fine Arts Society (ADFAS) Noosa as part of their monthly lecture series.
His talk will reference the work of, among others, that of Japanese ink artists, Frank Hurley, Helen Garner, Jenni Diski, Ellen Miller, Christo and Andy Goldsworthy.
Mr Boddy is well renowned and is an Honorary Associate in the Faculty of Design Architecture and Building at the University of Technology Sydney, and a freelance architectural photographer and a consultant to the NSW Board of Architects.
