Factory offers VIP pirate feel

By Hollie Harris

Ahoy me hearties! Heave Ho to the Ginger Factory this school holidays and discover Captain Ginger Beard presents Talk Like a Pirate Week. From Monday 18 to Friday 22 September at 9.30am and 11am daily for the very first time, the Ginger Factory will be hosting Captain Ginger Beard.
Let your young ones learn the lingo of a sea dog, as Captain Ginger Beard teaches them about life sailing the seven seas in search of treasure. A lively and interactive performance, the kids are sure to love it!
Admission is free, but spaces will fill up fast, so make sure you get in early for a front row seat.
The best part is the fun doesn’t have to stop with the school holiday program at the Ginger Factory this September. Hop on board Moreton*, the 116-year-old ginger train. Be sure to keep an eye out for the chooks, they love to chase Moreton up at the Old Farm. If a classic game of hide and seek is more your thing, then don’t miss out on the Overboard* boat ride. Jump aboard your very own lifeboat and see how many gingerbread men you can spot on this water adventure.
And to celebrate the launch of the new Ginger Factory website, and this exciting school holiday program, the Ginger Factory is holding a competition to win a VIP Pirates Experience at Ginger Factory.
Prize Includes:
* 5 Family VIP Passes (RRP $190)
