And the kilos fall away

By JONATHON HOWARD

THE Jetts Noosa 12-week Weight Loss Journey has passed the halfway point and there’s only five weeks left before the big announcements.
The participants have been shedding the kilos since the journey commenced in early September.
The eight participants are not only facing the challenges of rigorous exercise, but almost more important is managing their eating habits and cutting back any bad habits.
The participants will take part in a martial arts class with expert trainer Simon Golland at the Jetts Noosa Gym this Saturday, 15 November.
Noosa Today can also reveal the starting and current weights for each competitor.
The participants are not listed in order of weight loss as their situations are all different and losing weight is an ongoing lifestyle change.
1. Amanda Richens: starting weight 94.5kg, current weight 91.4kg.
2. Lisa Follers: starting weight 107.5kg, current weight 99.8kg.
3. Charlene Whitten: starting weight 98.9kg, current weight 92.9kg.
4. Leanne Miller: starting weight 95.3kg, current weight 90.2kg.
5. Christine Rayner aka Charlie Brown: starting weight 79.7kg, current weight 76.5kg.
6. Bob Cox: starting weight 126.6kg, current weight 113.9kg
7. Doug Castledine: starting weight 125.9kg, current weight 121.6kg
8. Louise Kiernan: starting weight 88.6kg, current weight 83.4kg.
Show your support: More than ever the participants need support to push through the pain barrier! Send your messages of support to newsdesk@noosatoday.net.au or visit the Noosa Today Facebook page.
