Sweet Sorrows

AUSTRALIAN blues rock band The Black Sorrows are in town, performing at the Villa Noosa tomorrow night, from 7.30pm.
Now touring their 17th album “Certified Blue”, The Black Sorrows featuring Joe Camilleri will take to the stage to deliver their signature rock and blues mix that has become the soundtrack of the ’90s for so many Australians.
Singer, songwriter, saxophonist, producer and man of many talents, Camilleri, formed the band in 1983, and while the band has had a long list of changing members, the popularity and professionalism of their music has stayed the same.
The Black Sorrows have sold more than a million albums and have released classics such as Chained to the Wheel, Harley and Rose and Hold Onto Me.
Their new album has been described as a mix of blues, ballads, rock, country, gospel, swing and honky tonk along with some of the best songs Camilleri has written.
The Black Sorrows will play at the Villa Noosa, Mary Street, Noosaville, on Friday 14 November, with doors open from 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from the venue or on the night for $25.
