Festival rolls in

GET ready to relax by the river tonight when the Stone and Wood mobile bar rolls into Noosa for the Boathouse River Festival.
Noosa Boathouse and Byron Bay-based beer company Stone and Wood have joined forces to deliver an outdoor festival on the Boathouse lawn that will offer live music, street food, beer and wine under the stars.
The festivities kick off from 3pm today and run until 10pm, with Bonnie the Caravan, Stone and Wood’s retro green caravan, doubling as a mobile bar.
Get in early to lay the picnic rug and get a great spot to watch the sunset and sit back to take in what will be a delicious treat for locals.
Noosa Boathouse chef Shane Bailey will be serving mouth-watering street foods such as fish and chips, pulled pork and beef brisket burgers, arancini balls and calamari, alongside live tunes from Mick Lindsay and East of Eden and Stone and Wood beer.
Noosa Boathouse owner Phil Bradford said the festival will make the most of the fantastic riverside location with great music, food and drinks.
Bring a rug, settle in and enjoy the atmosphere of the Noosa Boathouse and Stone and Wood River Festival today from 3pm, Gympie Terrace, Noosaville.
