IT’S set to be double trouble at the Noosa Today newsdesk with twins Jolene and Megan Ogle opting to job share after Jolene’s return from maternity leave.
Megan said she is thrilled to stay on at the newsdesk after covering Jolene’s six month leave to welcome her daughter Willow into the world.
“I’ve loved learning so much about the Noosa community and now that I have been so warmly welcomed I look forward to staying on board with the Noosa Today team,” she said.
The two sisters will now share the role of journalist for Noosa Today with Megan available in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday while Jolene is available all other days.
Jolene said she looks forward to working with her sister.
“It may seem a little unusual to have twins working at a local newspaper but we make a great team and look forward to working hard to deliver all the local news to our valued readers,” she said.
“We have excellent communication and that is important when it comes to covering all the issues that matter to the local community.
“And, don’t worry, we’re really very easy to tell apart!“
Noosa Today loves to hear from its community so if you have a story you would like to share or a news lead email newsdesk@noosatoday.com.au, jolene.ogle@noosatoday.com.au, megan.ogle@noosatoday.com.au or phone the office on 5455 6946.
