Grandparents get to watch Eagles play

THIS weekend was grandparents’ day for the Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association (SCCSA).
To celebrate SCCSA year of the family, grandparents were invited to attend the soccer game on Saturday 11 June.
The Under 6 Black team had a fantastic win (7-0) against the Immanuel Go Getters with two players receiving player of the week.
The Under 6 Gold team also had a win against Immanuel (11-0) with Charlie Giles playing his maiden match as well as scoring a goal.
The Under 8 White team were defeated (6-7), with all the other teams’ goals scored in the first half. Ignaitus, Rohnan, Lenny and Cooper all scored goals.
Under 8 Gold defeated the Unity Cobras (3-2), with Harrison Howard and Joel Fitzgerald scoring goals, with Harrison taking home player of the match for his determined attitude from the beginning of the game.
Under 9 Black were defeated (3-4) by the Pacific Seals and the Under 11 Golds were also defeated by the Currimundi Vipers (3-4). Goals were scored by Jai Stuart, Innocent Sibanda and Jude Youens – who was player of the week.
