Everyone was seeing pink when Baker’s Delight Noosa Junction helped raise more than $1000 for the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) through the sale of bright pink buns.
Local musician and breast cancer survivor Tracey Combes was on hand to help with the event in which the full proceeds from all buns sold went straight to the BCNA to help provide support services to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
For Tracey, who has recently received training to help women through their breast cancer journey, the event was a great way to meet other women who are suffering or have survived the disease.
“It was very humbling to receive so much support from the Noosa community,” she said.
“I feel blessed to be able to help other women through this often terrible time.”
