Nicole holds keys to concert of note

NOOSA’S very own basset clarinet exponent Nicole van Bruggen will return home to perform with the renowned Ironwood Quartet on May 22.
Fresh from her European tour, Nicole will perform Mozart Clarinet Quintet on an 18th century basset clarinet replica, which is precisely the instrument for which Mozart wrote the work.
Nicole will be joined by a trio including a clarinet, viola and cello, while Ironwood will play Haydn’s string quartet number four.
Following the performance, Nicole will join the Ironwood quartet on a regional Musica Viva tour.
You can see Nicole perform at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Centre, Noosaville, on May 24, from 7.30pm.
Tickets are $38 and are available now from The J, Noosa Junction or from the Good Shepherd Lutheran Centre one hour before the concert.
