Armed robbery arrest

SUNSHINE Coast Detectives have charged a man with armed robbery after an incident at Noosa Heads yesterday.
About 9.30am on Monday 14 September, a 22-year-old man attended a residence of an acquaintance in Coral Street, Noosa Heads.
It will be alleged the man threatened the resident with a knife and demanded money. The man then left the house with cash.
Police located the man a short time later on Emu Mountain Road.
A 22-year-old Coolum Beach man has been charged with one count each of armed robbery and entering a dwelling with intent, and two counts of possessing dangerous drug.
He is due to appear at the Maroochydore Magistrates’ Court on 23 September.
