Sate honours for softballers

WITH a hiatus in between softball seasons, Noosa softball players switch to the representive honours with the Queensland School Boys and Girls titles being played last week.
Noosa had a number of kids playing for the Sunshine Coast who all did well but three, Amaya Foxover, Rylee Read and Ethan Lewis, were selected for Queensland.
Jack Murray and Laucke Cruice also had good tournaments while Jasmine Murray missed the tournament with injury.
This brings Noosa’s current Queensland crop of players to eight between school and club.
This week is the State Under 17 titles at Toowoomba with seven players representing as pick-ups or in a combined team again.
The Noosa association wish them well and hope to get a few more picked for Queensland.
The new season starts on 17 October and players can play for Dodgers, Redsox or Slammers.
