Bus in the ditch

The Sunbus crashed in to a ditch at the Walter Hay Drive roundabout on Tuesday morning at about 6.50am.

THREE passengers and a bus driver were taken to hospital on Tuesday morning when the bus they were travelling in crashed into a ditch at the Walter Hay Drive roundabout.
The accident happened at about 6.50am on Tuesday 14 April, when the bus driver is suspected to have had a stroke and lost control of the bus.
Noosa Heads Police said the driver was taken to Nambour Hospital with suspected head injuries along with another passenger, who is believed to have suffered rib injuries when he was thrown forward on impact.
Two more passengers were taken to Noosa Hospital with one passenger released the same day and the other undergoing scans with suspected neck injuries.
Noosa Heads and Coolum Beach police attended the scene and directed traffic.
