A Feast For The Ears

By Hollie Harris

Noosa’s best free music night is back tomorrow night. Head to the next Sound Feast at The J for another fantastic line-up including luscious vocal harmonies from My Nightingale, talented finger style guitarist Van Larkins and the Dave Orr Band whose sound is best described as “blues-rock with a drop of late-night whiskey bar”. The list goes on with one of Australia’s finest saxophonists, a skilful multi-instrumentalist – Lee Hardisty and back with their spicy, high energy salsa and samba dancing is Lets Dance Latin. There is a full bar and bar snacks. Delicious hot food now available on the deck: Japanese Yums/The Dumpling Hut – steamed dumplings (pork, prawn, vegan) , fish cakes, chilled soy beans, seaweed salad – Yums is right!. There is plenty of seating, a huge dance floor and easy car parking available and best of all, its free. Grab your crew and get your dancing shoes on for Sound Feast from 6pm, Friday 18 May.
