Learn The Art Of Mud

An incredible clay sculpture for beginners class is now open for bookings. Don’t miss award winning and renowned local artist, Jane Welsh teaching her Magic Of Mud classes and get in early, as it booked out last year. This year she is offering a single weekend format (Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June 9.30-5pm) or a 6 week format of Monday evening or Tuesday morning classes starting the week of 30th July. The cost is $250 including materials, or $230 early bird. Enjoy creative time out in her beautiful studio in Verrierdale.  Discover how to build hollow clay sculptures that can be fired to create long lasting indoor or outdoor pieces, play with texture, create two practice pieces and one larger piece of your own design. Once dried and fired, you will get three pieces to take home, and have the knowledge to keep creating at home – t’s easy. The cost includes clay and firing, class notes to keep you going and morning and afternoon tea (gluten free). Please BYO lunch.
