Finals set to launch career

FOR the past seven weeks, the region’s best young talent has been duelling it out for a coveted place in the finals of The Battle of the Rising Stars at the Noosa Surf Club.
The winners from the last two weeks of semi-finals will now prepare for the Grand Final which will be held at the Noosa Surf Club this Sunday, 21 August.
Prizes will be awarded to the best original artist with first prize including a career launch with Heliport recording and a marketing and media promotional package.
Second prize is a $1000 gift voucher from Music at Noosa and all finalists receive a Heliport demo recording and paid gig performances.
There is more than $15,000 worth of prizes available so the battle should be big.
Judges’ votes and public votes are weighted 50/50 so anyone who wants to get involved is welcome to head down to the Noosa Surf Life Saving Club and support the rising stars on Sunday 21 August at 2pm.
