Ten local working mums ditched the activewear and donned designer gear to help raise funds for The Powerhouse Co-operative.
The models took to the catwalk at the Boathouse Noosa on Friday night (12 August) dressed in Hastings Street’s newest label, Augustine, from New Zealand.
Over 100 people turned out to support the fashion show and help raise funds for Noosa’s first child-friendly co-working space.
Event organier and group founder Aimee Sheriff said she was “blown away” by the support from the local business community.
“Many of the night’s elements were donated by local businesses from Splash Events donating the set-up, Signorama Signs who donated a media board and local DJ Antix, who donated his time and tunes,” she said.
The businesswomen who took to the catwalk had their make-up supplied by local make-up artist and working mum Benita, while working mum Krystina Eva took celebrity-style photos on the night.
“I looked around and was emotionally blown away by the love of the Noosa community,” Aimee said.
“We really do have an amazingly supportive community who get behind and back local ventures. Not to mention over $4k worth of products and services donated by local businesses.
“The night was a great success celebrating Noosa woman, women in business and mumpreneurs.”
