Fund-raiser’s a fun day Finding Dory

IF YOU’RE looking for a fun day out with the kids to support a great cause, Noosa Event Cinemas will be hosting a fund-raising function, Elki’s Movie Day on Sunday 19 June.
The fun starts at 9am with some fun activities and lots of children’s entertainment before the 10am screening of the long-awaited movie, Finding Dory.
This fun-filled movie day is being held to help raise support funds for Elki and her family. Elki was diagnosed with Leukaemia on New Year’s Day.
Her dad consistently needs time off work as Elki often ends ups in hospital for days at a time and bills are starting to stack up.
Weekly trips to Brisbane for treatment have also been tough on their 20-year-old car which has become unreliable, so they are in desperate need of a new vehicle. The funds raised will help support this family and their brave little girl through a tough time.
All tickets are just $15 per person, and you can purchase tickets via Katie or Julie at the Tewantin Noosa RSL on 5440 7718 or 5440 7705.
You can follow Elki’s journal on Facebook : www.facebook.com/elkisjournal.
