Positive outlok for cattle show

THE Noosa District State High School (NDSHS) cattle show team received outstanding results in Gympie over the weekend, which has provided the school with a positive outlook for the cattle show season.
The NDSHS cow Gemini with her twin heifer calves were awarded the Grand Champion Murray Grey exhibit.
Students Jaz and Tomika took out first and second placings in the Cattle Parading Competition.
Jess was awarded second placing, Jaz took out third place and Chloe was awarded fifth in the Young Judges Competition, Stud Cattle Section; while Chloe was awarded second and Jess third in the Young Judges Competition.
Agricultural science teacher and the NDSHS cattle show mentor John Masterman was very proud of his students’ efforts.
“They are a great bunch of kids. It was a great team effort,” Mr Masterman said.
