ROUND four of the 11-round season for the Noosa Boardriders kicked off over the weekend at Alexandria Bay.
With a lack of waves up and down the coast, organisers took an early run into the Noosa National Park and called it on at the beautiful A-Bay.
More than 67 surfers across the day performed well in the small but fun conditions putting on performances that any keen surfer would be proud of.
Mitchell Peterson took out the Under 8 boys to the always charging Henry Dowling while Harper Smales won the hotly contested Under 8 girls.
Big Brother Landen Smales surfed well all day taking out the Under 10 division and backing up to win the Under 12 category in an extremely close battle with William Peterson.
Twelve-year-old Luke Skelton stepped up in the Under 14 division claiming his first win in for the season while Emily Lethbridge, after a disappointing Under 16 result, claimed the title in the Under 18 girls.
The Under 16 boys and girls division showcased the complete surf displays. Ethan Trotman taking to the air and displaying skills of an open surfer narrowly defeated Cooper Davies and Toby Lyons with the relaxed Joe Markwell in fourth.
A big thanks must go to all the parents that made this logistically tough event possible and a big shout out to all the Groms that had a great day of surfing.
