Uplifting Mental strains

MENTAL As Anything is one of Australia’s most recognisable bands. Their career has spanned over 30 years with numerous chart toppers around the world.
Mental As Anything are responsible for sensational hits such as Live It Up, The Nips Are Getting Bigger, Too Many Times and so, so many more.
They are performers in the truest sense of the word, delighting audiences just as much now as when they first began performing.
Mental As Anything are about as humble as you can get too, never forgetting that they began their career performing in pubs, clubs, and bars.
The old urban legend tells of a group of teenagers who passed themselves off as a band in order to get free beer in exchange for playing and have been performing ever since. That’s why they still continue to tour small venues … the memories, not the beer, we hope!
The Tewantin Noosa RSL finally has the joy of hosting Mental as Anything. Though their incredible repertoire continues to expand, their new single “Shake Off Your Sandals” was released in December 2015, and they still charm the crowds with all the old favourites.
You’ll be transported back to the ’70s when you first heard these amazing songs that quickly became the background anthems of so many childhoods.
You can catch Mental As Anything at the Tewantin Noosa RSL on Saturday 4 June in the Diggers Bar. They will be supported by One Voice and tickets are just $30 for members and $35 for non-members. You can grab your tickets at reception or dial’n’charge on 5447 1766, however you’ll need to be quick as this event will sell out.
Mental As Anything is set to deliver a night you’re sure not to forget.
