Chamber opens the books

THE CCIQ Noosa annual general meeting will be held on Tuesday 8 September, at the South Pacific Resort, Weyba Road, Noosaville, from 6pm.
The agenda will include reports on the statement of income and expenditure, assets and liabilities and mortgages, charges and securities affecting the property of the Noosa Chamber for the last financial year; the receiving of the auditor’s report on the financial affairs of the Noosa Chamber for the last financial year; the presenting of the audited statement to the meeting for adoption; the election of members of the management committee; and the appointment of an auditor.
Nominations for new members of the management committee are most welcome. They must be made in writing using the form available under the “events” tab on the CCIQ Noosa website and must be lodged with the secretary on or before Tuesday 25 August.
If, at the commencement of the AGM, there are insufficient number of candidates nominated, nominations will be taken from the floor of the meeting.
For those interested but who are unable to attend the AGM, a proxy appointment can be made in writing using the form on the chamber’s site and must be lodged with the secretary before the AGM commences.
Please stay afterwards for networking drinks and nibbles after, to welcome the new chamber board.
