Fighting for funds

IT IS that time of the year again for local code players to step into the ring, all in the name of charity.
This Saturday night (21 November) at the Noosa Leisure Centre the Contender of the Codes will take place; a night of fighting for funds.
Under promoter Damian Smith, known to one and all as Butch, various athletes representing different organisations, such as Sunshine Butterflies, will box, and support groups will sell tickets with funds going to their respective bodies.
This is the fourth time it has been held in Noosa and all previous occasions have been a great success. Despite all the ringside tables being sold, there will still be tickets available at the door for the 6.30pm start.
A great night, for good causes; the Contendor of the Codes will be held this Saturday 21 November at the Noosa Leisure Centre from 6.30pm.
