Come on kids – give winter sports a go!

All local primary school-aged children are invited to attend a free come-and-try Winter Sports Day and information sessions being held on February 25, at Cooroy Sports Complex, Mary River Road, Cooroy.

The aim of the day is to encourage children to sign up to sport and recreation activities within their community. Children will have the opportunity to ‘test drive’ the range of sports on offer in their local area and local clubs will be on hand to take registrations for the winter season. Register your attendance online bit.ly/1kXbtd7
Fresh fruit and plenty of giveaways will be on offer, and don’t forget to bring your hat, sunscreen and runners/sports shoes. This is a joint initiative between Noosa Council and Australian Government’s Active After-school Communities program in partnership with Queensland Government’s Sport and Recreation Services and Sunshine Coast Council. For more information, please contact council on 5329 6452.
