NOOSA’S premier concert venue, The J, comes alive again on Friday 22 April with this month’s Sound Feast set to be bigger than ever.
Exhilarating Brisbane band Brother Fox will share the stage with the rapidly rising Sunny Coast Rude Boys, a seven-piece party-time ska band, who made a mighty splash at their last Sound Feast performance.
Tribal fusion duo, AZUR, will also feature at this five-hour concert marathon and much-loved local Andrea Kirwin. Organiser Jay Bishoff said Sound Feast had something for everyone.
“This event has something for everyone; awesome touring acts, surprising local acts, solos, duos, seven-piece ska band, it’s awesome,” Jay said.
“We even have open chalkboard performances at the start of the night. These can be some of the most rewarding performances of the whole event.
“The venue is exquisite, and the talent is off the chart and it’s free.”
“The J features the highest production values on the coast, sound and lighting are stunning, and the professional concert stage makes this the perfect venue for performers to share their gifts.”
So head down to The J, 60 Noosa Drive, Noosa Heads, Friday 22 April from 6pm to catch the best of live music for free. All ages are welcome, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult after 8pm.
Open chalkboard performances kick off from 6pm and wrap up at 7.30pm, so get down early to sign up at 5.30pm. For more information visit www.thej.com.au.
