Hitting the high notes

Young rock loving music sensation Morgan Smith is wowing audiences wherever he performs.
It just comes naturally for the 10-year-old Noosa boy who thinks his singing and guitar abilities are normal – it’s just what you do.
Morgan’s mum Lorraine said it was just “who he is”.
“He just absolutely loves it. He says he’ll be playing like Jimi Hendrix one day,” she said. “He wants to make it big time.”
Lorraine said since he was old enough to hold a stick he was tapping out tunes. She believes it’s in the genes with a number of extended family members musically inclined.
It’s surprising to find out Morgan only started guitar lessons a year ago but he hasn’t wasted any time getting out into the music scene.
He has performed at several venues including the Noosa Heads Surf Club and Imperial Hotel.
He recently obtained his busking licence, played at the Pomona Music Muster and has been out and about looking for the best busking spots around the area.
Keep an eye out for Morgan around the traps or see more on his Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Morgan-Music-760797314113929/
