With Sheena and Riley just getting ready for the Caboolture trip, the text comes through that softball games have been cancelled due to the wet conditions.
If the grounds were like Noosa’s Friday night, we know why. This left the men’s game in the arvo, and by 9.30am it was text out game on, so the Noosa men (and Juniors who play up) travelled down, but had a loss against the Budgie Smugglers in a pretty average performance. A few of the players need to start swinging and not leaving the ball, as we played well below par.
This left Sunday where Riley, Lewis, Charles, Dylan and Shinae all would go back to Caboolture for their academy training, but again a message comes through that it’s cancelled due to the weather, followed up with training next Sunday at 8am or even earlier — got to love our kids sport.
