LOCAL combat self-defence student Dallas Wallis has been awarded with the most improved student award for the second term of 2016.
Dallas, 10, holds the 4th Kyu grade rank and received the award after almost three years of training under the guidance of Shihan Martin Day and Sensei Patricia at Combat Self-Defence at the Noosa Leisure Centre.
Dallas said his favourite technique is the self-defence set combination two.
“Combat self-defence training is great fun and I also like learning stick fighting and soccer,” Dallas said.
