Classes of spring colours

The Noosa Arts and Crafts Association has a stack of spring time arts classes for locals who want to try something new or hone a skill.
Monday watercolour classes are on now. Lead by John Newman, beginners start at 9am until noon and intermediate classes are from 1-4pm.
There are group activities on offer, too, including crochet classes for all abilities on the second Wednesday of each month, from 9am to noon.
For those who prefer to work with words, then the creative writing group meets fortnightly on Thursday, from this week, 9am to 12.30pm.
Noosa Arts and Crafts also offers workshops in a variety of mediums.
Dianne Smith will lead students in the art of a contemporary approach to oil and acrylic painting.
The course will run for four weeks from 11 November.
Keeping it contemporary, Tricia Bradford will teach students porcelain art in a six-week course starting on 13 October.
For more information on the workshops and classes available, phone 5474 1211, email create@noosaartsandcrafts.org.au or visit the website www.noosaartssandcrafts.org.au.
