THE C&K Tewantin Community Childcare Centre set out to collect Christmas goodies for two local families in need this festive season. The children, teachers and parents aimed to donate enough long-life foods, toys and gifts to fill a basket for each family, but through the generosity of the community, they were able to fill three baskets for each family. Both families consist of single grandmothers who are raising children aged five to 15 years.
