SUNSHINE Butterflies founder Leanne Walsh has extended her deepest gratitude to the Jetts Noosa 12-week Weight Loss Journey participants for their volunteering efforts on Saturday 13 December.
From about 7am the team of weight loss participants and staff from Jetts Noosa and Noosa Today, helped create the centre’s new driveway and garden beds.
“It was such a huge help at our new centre,“ Ms Walsh said.
“I’d like to thank Jetts Noosa, Noosa Landscape Supplies, D&K Tree Surgery and Ground Down for helping with supplies – plus the whole team for their help and support this year.“
Ms Walsh said the new centre was starting to take shape and she was excited for the new year.
Jetts Noosa owner John Morrall said he had been overwhelmed by the success of the Jetts Noosa weight loss participants.
“It’s been an incredible first year of the Jetts Noosa and Noosa Today partnership,“ he said.
“We’re already looking at ways to improve the weight loss journey next year and there’s still plenty of announcements to make.“
The final weigh-in and several big announcements were expected to be made on Friday 19 December.
Mr Morrall said the participants were bursting with new-found confidence and new lifestyles.
“It’s been amazing to see how strong and fit the participants are now,“ he said.
