Make the most of Australia Day

CELEBRATE all that is Australia at the many parties and festivities on offer around Noosa this Australia Day.
There’s something for everyone from a family fun day to Triple J’s Hottest 100 parties to relaxed DJ sets at trendy restaurants.
Noosa’s Australia Day
Rotary Noosa Heads and Tewantin Noosa Lions Club have joined forces to bring family fun to the annual Noosa Australia Day celebrations. Entertainment for the whole family is on offer from Andino the Magician and TwistedMr the balloon artist to a jam-packed musical line-up featuring headline act Mick Lindsay.
Where: Lions Park, Gympie Terrace, Noosaville.
Time: Ceremony 7am-9am, entertainment from 9am.
Cost: Free.

Day on the Deck
Celebrate the Aussie lifestyle with a day on the deck at the Sunshine Beach Surf Club. Soak up the sun while enjoying live Aussie music from 2pm and yummy traditional Aussie burgers. Contact the club for more information on 5447 5491.
Where: Sunshine Beach Surf Club.
Time: Music kicks off at 2pm.
Cost: Free entry

Triple J Party
Listen to the Triple J’s Hottest 100 at The Noosa Reef Hotel. Enjoy a true blue Aussie sausage sizzle and awesome Aussie specials available all day. Contact the hotel for more information on 5430 7500.
Where: The Noosa Reef Hotel.
Time: The party kicks off from 10am.
Cost: Entry is free.

Triple J’s Hottest 100
Listen live to the famous Triple J’s Hottest 100 at the Noosa Surf Club. Enjoy the magnificent views while listening to your favourite Triple J hits and keep the party going with DJ Romeo after the countdown. Contact the club for more information on 5474 5688.
Where: Noosa Surf Club.
Time: Countdown kicks off at 11am.
Cost: Entry is free.

Stylish Afternoon
If loud crowds and hot sun isn’t your thing head over to Miss Moneypenny’s to sip on a cocktail and share a delicious pizza in a stylish, yet relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy an afternoon of sophistication with a DJ spinning the decks from 1pm and an extensive selection of international cocktails. Call Miss Moneypenny’s for more information on 5474 9999.
