OLD SALTS

PERMACULTURE NOOSA
At the group’s next meeting – TODAY, Thursday, March 20, 7pm – at Cooroy Memorial Hall, Maple St, Cooroy, the topic will be insects. Maria Page will present Insects in my Food Forest, Elisabeth Fekonia will talk about Predator Insects – Your Garden Friends, and Kirsten Small will present Integrated Pest Management in the Urban Garden. Permaculture Noosa meetings are free, open to the public and begin at 7pm with a marketplace where members share surplus home-grown produce. The Seaview Creek Sunshine Beach Bushcare Group will be weeding at the boardwalk entrance on Dolphin Bay Drive on Thursday, March 27, from 7.30am. All volunteers welcome. ART SHOW
Coolum Art Group is once again holding its popular Easter Art Show, with hundreds of paintings by 20 different artists, and lots of good quality homemade crafts.  Painting demonstrations all weekend. Visit the show at Coolum Civic Centre, Park St, Coolum, April 18, 19 & 20, from 9am till 5pm daily. Meet the artists at 4.30pm on Saturday, April 19. Free entry.

VIEW LUNCHEON
