Funnyman Paul ‘Pauly’ Fenech is bringing his new show to the Sunshine Coast – Pauly’s Fat Pizza + Housos Comedy Spectacular at 8pm this Friday 23 June at the Imperial Hotel, Eumundi. He’ll also be scouting for new “talent” for a new TV show concept to roll out in 2018.
He’s made five movies, thousands of live comedy shows and over a hundred half hours of TV – and comedic genius Paul Fenech has now developed what he says is his funniest solo show yet.
After a sell-out tour of the entire Queensland coast last year, Logie winning Paul Fenech ‘The new Crown Prince of Rude’, returns with a new show that he has described as “a bourbon-fuelled bogan subwoofer bonanza of laughs!”
As TV classics, Fat Pizza and Housos truly connected with audiences across the county with those characters and themes still finding a place in Fenech’s latest show.
“Housos is, for me, part of a tradition in Aussie comedy that is being eroded in the current climate of nanny state political correctness,” Fenech says.
“This is stand-up comedy on speed, revealing never-seen-before footage of Fat Pizza and Housos, to create a unique two-hour multimedia comedy experience complete with crowd games and parody songs,” he says.
Fenech’s alter egos Pauly and Franky Falzoni (plus an assortment of other personalities that reveal themselves live at each show) explore every aspect of our Australian culture, creating the wildest live comedy show touring the country. Funnyman Fenech warns that all stereotypes will be sledged.
The last politically incorrect showman Paul ‘Pauly’ Fenech will also be on the hunt for the biggest bogans he can find – for a brand new TV concept he’ll be launching in 2018. All will be revealed during the course of the show at the Imperial Hotel, Eumundi.
“There is a strict criteria, but I believe a special kind of bogan will found on the Sunshine Coast,” Fenech says.
