Outstanding little Eagles

By Bek Petrie

NOOSA EAGLES
The Under 6 team walked off the field feeling very proud of themselves as they really came together as a team. Learning to talk to each other and pass the ball all the way into the goals. Playing against Buderim Twisters, they had a win 10-1, with every player doing an outstanding job. Well done to goal scorers Isaac, Charlie, Zach and Myles. Great defence on field Max and Eli, who were on the ball the entire time and Phoenix did an outstanding job as goaly. Player of the Match went to Myles, who not only kicked a few goals but made some great passes to his team-mates and kept up the communication. Well done team!
Under 9 Black had another intense game against Mooloolaba Eclipsers winning 5-3. Well done to goal scorers Rohnan, Iggy, Noah and Cooper. Great work defending on field James, Alexander, Jaymie, Storm and Baden. Player of the match went to the team’s star Baden, who not only was unstoppable on field but did absolutely fantastic as goaly in the first half with some unbelievable stops. A huge thank you to Riley, who’s been with us for the past three seasons. As his lovely family prepare to move, we want you to know, you will always be part of our team!
With no substitute players again this week, Under 10 Noosa Black played well to defeat Bli Bli 2-0. Jake MacDonald scored early in the match and got the team off to a good start. A well-positioned throw in from Keiran Dow to Alaska Ronzenkranz saw the start of some fantastic teamwork that led to the teams second goal. Alaska coordinated a fantastic pass to Jaimen Slavin, who booted the ball for what can only be described as a cracker goal! Great work, Under 10 Noosa Black.
The Noosa Eagles will now take a three week break for the school holidays.
