IT WASN’T just on-field where the Noosa AFL Tigers showed good form, their list of guest speakers for the President’s Lunch was just as impressive.
Held every home game at the Weyba Road grounds, the President’s Lunch is a great way to hear from some of the code’s greats while enjoying a delicious meal provided by the Noosa Heads Surf Club restaurant.
This year the lucky lunch guests were treated to the likes of former St Kilda and Carlton great Val Perovic, former Essendon champion Scott Lucas, plus one of Richmond’s all-time greats, Michael Roach.
Brownlow medallist, captain and premiership player for Geelong, Paul Couch, was also among the guest speakers, while renowned sports journalist and host of On The Couch, Mike Sheahan, had the crowd intrigued.
St Kilda’s 1966 premiership player Barry Breen and leading TV sports specialist Drew Morphett rounded out the guest speakers for the 2015 season.
