COOROORA United Football Club hosted a thank you celebration for their sponsors on Friday night.
Vice President Michael Price and a number of other committee members were on-hand to thank some of the sponsors who have got behind the club in 2015 – many of them for a number of years.
Geoff Edwards from Cooroy Community Bank branch of Bendigo Bank, Dr. Tom Wilkinson from Sunrise Dental, Rob Chapman from Chapman’s Auto Repairs and Craig Steele from Hinteractive Physio were among those being thanked for their support and took in a few games as they enjoyed the atmosphere.
Other sponsors include: Noosa to Hinterland Plumbing Group, Cooroy Harvest Fresh, Gelignite Jacks, Caledonian Colour, Noosa Trophies and Engraving and Fraser Coast Vets.
“It’s been a great season for the Cooroy-based club and everyone is looking forward to the push towards the finals with several teams looking like they will make an impact, including the Coastal Women’s team and the U17, U15 and U13 boys’ teams,” Michael said.
“Anyone looking to become involved with Cooroora United can do so by contacting the club through any of the numbers on its website: cufc.org.au.”
