Long-time Noosa Council employee and mother of two, Julianne Dunkinson, was farewelled today as hundreds of mourners gathered at Gregson and Weight Noosa funeral home to say their last goodbyes.
Following the ceremony, a procession including the hearse drove through Tewantin and past the council chambers where almost 100 people lined the streets to say farewell, before clapping as the hearse drove past.
Red ribbons had been placed on the council chambers’ front entrance in honour of Julianne.
The Pomona mother died on Sunday after being infected with meningococcal. She has been remembered as a “very special lady” who will be “missed in more ways than one”.
Big farewell for Julianne
