Pomona is picture of perfection

Located in the picturesque town of Pomona is the award-winning campus of Pomona State School.
Nestled near the majestic Mount Cooroora, Pomona State School is an integral part of the local community and maintains a small, rural school atmosphere with an extensive range of modern facilities and resources.
Pomona State School currently has more than 340 students from prep to year seven who take part in a range of activities throughout the year.
Currently, a range of students are battling it out in the annual chess tournament while others have taken part in the Billy Moore Cup rugby league carnival held at Kawana Sports Precinct.
For students who love to perform, the Pomona’s Got Talent grand final winning act will perform at Pomona in the Park on Thursday 26 November at Stan Topper Park, Pomona.
The Kids in Action program is also proving to be a hit with kids teaching kids under the guidance of teacher Kathy Lavender.
Pomona State School staff said 2016 is shaping up to be a great year with 13 straight year level classes and one multi-age class.
Pomona State School is located at 74 Station Street, Pomona.
For more information on the school, its programs or enrolments, phone 5480 8222.
